Bebe always delivers on the hot, sexy and trendy clothes for women. While the quality of the materials used has suffered a bit in the past, I can see a definite improvement recently.

Jewelry and accessories are a bit on the pricey side...you're better off going to Forever 21 for that. But you will find amazing things to wear to the club, out on a date or if you work in a fashion forward office.

So I went in today for a return, but ended up doing an exchange.

The store: It was neat ..clean and items were laid out and set up nicely. Even the discounted area was organized. The store was not busy 3-4 shoppers.

Customer Service: I came into the store and advised the store rep that I was going to do an exchange. She placed my bag behind the counter. I picked out a few items and she put them back into the fitting room..I continued to look around. When I was ready to try on my items (note I did not add any other items to try on) , I approached her and she stated that my room was first to the left. That was it. As I was walking back there I noticed an item that I chose to try on.

I simply ask her if this was one of my items. She replied ..You can only try on 5 items and there are 5 items in your fitting room. I didnt say anything. But 1st of all this is not my first rodeo at Bebe I am very much aware of their fitting room policy, Second is it too much to ask to know where she placed the other items so I dont have to wander around looking for it when I am ready to try them on? Because she definitely didn't tell me nor did she ask which 5 items I would like to try on 1st. When I was ready to try on the additional item, I thought I had two items waiting for me to try on..I asked here if there was another item. She replied all the items you gave me are in the dressing room or on that rack. I didnt say anything .I was like ok it could have been my mistake but still I dont feel like I should have been talked down to as if I was a child.

Ok so check out time comes... As she is ringing me up, I reminded her about my exchange. I purchased the shirt...literally yesterday..I had all the tags on it and the receipt it was even in the same bag with the white wrapper around it. She looks at it and asks if when I bought it ..it had a lipstick mark on it. There was in fact a lipstick mark on it ..on the back by the zipper. I told her I didnt notice it when I purchased it yesterday and I havent worn it either. During the exchange she tells me that there will be a 30.00 credit back to my card. I told her that it was a gift card. She then replies ..it says here its a mastercard. As if I'm lying to her. I take the card out of my wallet to show her its a mastercard gift card. She replies oh and that there is no need for me to swipe my card. I receive my items and leave.

Overall, looking back I do not like the way I was treated. Customer service goes along way. I felt as though she treated me like a high school kid. Not the way you expect to get treated after spending 250$ on 4 shirts. I get treated better at target. Not the kind of treatment one expects from an upscale brand name store I love Bebe and their clothes but when I plan on spending alot of time and money in the store I will travel to the galleria. I had a much better experience there. This located is less then a mile away for me so its more convenient, but after this exerpience unless I need something asap I will order online or go to the galleria

I love this store. Some stores scream out at you to shop there more than others. Bebe is that place for me.

I am short and I can always find jeans that fit right out of the dressing room. The sales rack is why I first ventured into the store. There are phenomenal deals to be had on in style fashion, if chic is your fashion sense.

This store is not for everyone. The sizes probably do not go over size 8, you're probably lucky to find something in larger if they carry it. It is for the smaller sizes and I do have friends who complain that they would love to shop here if they carried their size.

At first it can be intimidating. The sales clerks are usually young and pretty and you might assume they will over look you. But if you're looking to try on clothes the will help you. So just ask for help. I have never had a rude employee but I have gone into the store not looking my best and been passed over. But then I started picking up clothes to try on and they showed some interest.

They do have a rewards program so if your looking to shop here regular, then ask for it. :)
