Brio Italian Restaurant Cafe

Brio was probably my favourite place to eat in Leeds. Nowhere near as pretentious as the likes of Room, but with arguable better food, much better service, and reasonably pricing. Actually, the service is here is one of the main attractions. These guys always remember their customers, and you really feel at home eating here. There's always much banter and everyone who works here is actually Italian.


I've never been anything other than impressed with the food. The specials change regularly so you don't get bored, and the salad starters are particularly good. They also have a great fish selection, it's not only pizza/pasta by any means.


If I had one criticism it would be the decor - it's slightly odd. But don't let that put you off - Brio is excellent.

Have been eating at Brio for quite a few years now. Always very good food and excellent service, even when it's busy. Plenty of specials as well as the regular menu which has a large range of starters. There are plenty of pasta dishes and a good range of meat and fish for mains. Good wines too. It's not cheap, but it is a city centre restaurant so not surprising - and they make a fuss about their regualr customers.

Pretty bad food, same menu for years, boring and up for sale!
