Very crowded with lots of bits & pieces. The isles are narrow, so don't try walking around with lots of bags. Whatever you want, I'm sure you will find it there.

Located opposite the tasty, appetising Alba Italian restaurant Clapham North is a mid-sized Zone 2 Northern Line station. I haven't visited it too frequently, as it's certainly the smaller sister of its other Clapham neighbours but it seems the staff are keen on a daily anecdote or two, read (the photo) for yourself!

This is a fantastic cab company. I've lived about a kilometer from their base for the last 3 or 4 years and they nearly always have plenty of cabs available, are invariably with you in minutes, charge reasonable rates and deliver a friendly service.


On one occasion I even got contacted by their base after a friend left her purse in the back seat and they had it delivered back within minutes. Good stuff!!


Not much more you can ask from a cab firm

I won't use these guys again unless I have to.

The first time, I told them I was urgently in need of a cab and the cab was more than 20 minutes late. When the cabbie finally arrived he was in a bad mood. He took a longer way than I would have taken, consistently doing the herky-jerky 'jam on the gas, pound on the brake' style of driving.

The second time, we asked whether they would take a dog and the dispatcher cheerfully said yes. When the cabbie arrived he almost refused to let the dog in the car. He had trouble finding our destination, and overcharged us, and was cranky about not getting tipped.

The only reason I didn't give these guys a '1' is because they actually found my destination both times. But there are definitely better options out there.

Very small platfrom and is crazy busy at peak times so avoid if you can. Apart from that it's really nice as there's always classical music playing! There's a nice pub across the pub called the Clapham North also.

I have never written a review before but this was the WORST service I have ever received! The taxi arrived an hour and ten minutes late. I was late for a job interview in the process. The phone operators were very unhelpful, putting me on hold and lying to me about how long the wait would be.
