La Sultane de Saba

Very nice place. Clean and very friendly people. I got a sugar wax and loved it! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a gentle wax.

A TMI review but.... here goes!

I was in Paris for a couple of days and wanted to clean up a little ;) so I came here exclusively because it was the only place I could find (as an American researching in English, with limited french) with épilation au sucre or sugaring waxing. I guess there's a bunch of other places too but with good ole yelp reviews, I felt most confident in coming here. I went for an épilation maillot integral, aka a Brazilian if you're American. I didn't have a french number nor phone service so I couldn't make an appointment so I came in during the beginning of my trip to make an appointment for the last day of my trip. They had a handful of open spots but both times I was there, there were at least 2-4 in and out customers do I figure they get their usuals.

So, I come in for my appointment and just as Brazilian sugaring is in the US, it's quick! My lady was super sweet and despite my desperate attempts to speak only in french, I struggled and they were super sweet--everyone was able to communicate with my broken french/English mainly which was nice! The sugar was a bit hot and maybe more sticky vs tacky than I was used to but it worked out okay and my lady did a pretty good job. my sugaring, once done, only costed 27€ because I am lucky to be pretty hairless as is LOL. However, it's normally 40€

I have big brows that need frequent TLC, which means I have experimented with dozens and dozens of different waxing places throughout the years for better and for worse. I always ask for a natural look, but my wishes are not always respected, unfortunately, and while I love Rosemay at Green Esthetic for bikini waxing, she's not so great with brows. Which is why I recently decided to check out the much-talked-about Sultane de Saba since it's only 5 min from my new office space. And I have to say I am immensely pleased with the experience.

Not only were they able to land me an appt that day during my lunch break (ideal!), the space was so yummy smelling and relaxing that I felt my blood pressure drop as soon as I walked in. What I didn't know, and was happy to discover, was that the waxing was done with sugar wax and was administered without any strips or spatulas. My friendly aesthetician used her fingers to maneuver the wax with expertise. I had never experienced that on brows and I was pretty impressed with how precise the waxing was.

As all of this was going on I was thinking that it would be a pricey treatment given the quality of the space and services, but no! It was only 10E!! Definitely the best quality/price brow wax in Paris!

I absolutely love this place. I feel so good while I'm there and so refreshed and alive when I step out to head back home. I've only received spa treatments here (scrubs, massages, etc.) and I'm curious about trying their waxes next time I'm in town for a while.

I loved the ambiance. It's such a cute little shop. The employees are very nice and I felt comfortable.
The first time I got my eyebrows done there, I was content. Barely hurt and looked good. They have dim lighting so it wasn't until I got home that I noticed my eyebrows were shaped slightly different.

I wanted to give it another try because I really liked the place. My second experience was with an older, skinny lady. She was very nice and even tried speaking English to make me feel comfortable. I left happy.
The next day, I woke up with burn marks.
I spent the next week going to work with scabs on my eyebrows.

I wanted to love it here, but I will likely never go back. I can't handle anymore burn marks for a week.

I recently moved to the city and was in desperate need of a good wax place. Finding the best wax place was important to me as I tend to be a bit particular about these type of services. I'm kinda attached to my lady back at home, and was worried about how I would find a place here in Paris. Honestly, this place was my second choice and I ended up going to Les Petitis Soin first (it had better reviews). After walking 30 minutes in the rain I noticed my first choice was closed! Hours stated on the window that they were open but doors were locked. I was confused and annoyed because looking into the window it was visible that people were clearly there. So I was off to my second choice (this place) and SO happy I did!

My Experience at La Sultane de Saba:

*Front desk girl was sweet and very welcoming!

*I only had to wait for ten minutes but I would make an appt if you can. They didn't seem too busy today so I think thats why I didn't have to wait that long.

*Lolita did my eyebrows and I LOVED her!! She was very personable and she made me feel comfortable (almost like a motherly feeling about her) We had good conversation :)

*She gave me a couple samples of lotion...which I enjoyed!

I plan on getting more services here during my stay here :) I had a great experience!

This place is great! The receptionist speaks great English, which is highly appreciated, since my French is on beginner level. I went here for a wax, and the lady who did the waxing was great, although she didn't speak English, we got the most important things through. The place is very nice and calming and the waxing was one of the most painless ones I've ever had! And I'm at that time of the month, so everything is more sensitive than usual, but this was amazing. Definitely recommended!

The Best place for Bikini Waxing. Less painful and they use sugar wax instead of honey. Quite reasonable as well. Good ambience and the people are really helpful. Great experience.

Got a maillot integral here and was very happy with it. No allergic reaction whatsoever and it's actually less painful than Brazilian honey waxing!! Overall very pleased with the reservation staff and the gal who was doing the job. Great place in Paris when it's that time of the month! Lol

I was looking for a place that does Sugaring or epilation au sucre. It definitely was worth the 40 minute train ride :D. I went in just as the spa opened and I didn't have an appointment. I was seen after a very short wait. I think it worked out for me as 1) It is summer in Paris, 2) I went on a weekday morning. I will definitely call ahead to make a reservation for the next time. Tina did my Brazilian wax or maillot integral. The cabins are very clean and well equiped, I think they use the same cabins for massaged. The wax procedure itself was very smooth and quite painless. I highly recommend it.
