Los Faroles

A great old-school Spanish restaurant in the heart of Munich. I've been to Spain twice, and theirs was the best tortilla I've had outside of Spain. Great stuffed mushrooms and paella marinera as well. It was a plus that, with my very limited German, I could converse easily with the waiter in Spanish. Seemed like it may also be a place for Spanish expats, as there was a group of older guys at the bar speaking Spanish with one another as well as the staff.

Very affordable as well.

Definitely an awesome dining experience! I went here with some friends for dinner during the summer, and sitting outside while pitcher after pitcher of sangria was brought to us made for a good night.

This restaurant definitely specializes in seafood and paella. Sadly I can't remember what we specifically ordered (it was several months ago and the 4 of us split 5 pitchers of sangria, so...), but I remember it all being good!

I would absolutely recommend this place for a date or going out with a small group of friends.

Los Faroles doesn´t have the best Tapas in Munich, but they do a really tasty paella. Absolutely recomendable, very tasty. So if sombody want´s to taste a good Paella, visit los Faroles. It is difficult to find a place that does it well.
