Just had to return for the cheese...bought the Golden Cross goat's cheese again; its really good. Still trying to find a decent cheddar...this time, tried a Montgomery...not too bad but not tops
Good to see the counter was well stocked...there wasn't much French cheese still but they had a decent looking Fourme d'Ambert...something for the next visit perhaps
Also, piggily and bought us a Danish and an almond croissant...very nice
A lot of people buy coffee there too...if its that good, maybe next time

Oh no 010. 3. 2021Předchozí recenzeI had to return...this time a cheddar (Black Bomber, as the tangy one from the other day was unavailable), ok, but not historic as Michael Winner used to say, a bit too "whey-y" and lacking the tang for me, however the goats cheese was just that (photo attached), absolutely amazing...delicious, and what's more it survived the fridge for several days, without any loss of taste or consistency
I shall return this weekend for more

Well that was worth it and we will definitely return...the cheddar was excellent...at last, not some chunk out of plastic wrapping....the blue was good too, though not exceptional, but a darn sight better than a supermarket version
There was virtually no French cheese...guess it fell foul of some Brexit bureaucracy...or maybe the border guards confiscated it!
They also have a whole raft of deli stuff and my partner bought a couple of bottles of white wine that were apparently really good
Time to go back

Uživatel Qype (cazzie…)Littlehampton, Velká Británie214628. 1. 2009wow what a find in Arundel. tempted in by freh bread in window. great choice of deli foods-bought cheese and pate and lovey fresh bread and some homecooked cakes. lots of choice for sauces-speciality jams-vinegars and lots more. fab choice of wines-too many to decide on! great service and advice-very friendly.shame I ended up spending so much as all so tempting! be back soon (friends now go too)
