Easier parking than other post office locations, but very long lines, and their package drop off was full and unable to accept more packages.

The customer service at most US post offices are abysmal, but this one takes the cake. The wait time at most US post offices has been horrible for many years, but since Louis DeJoy took the helm it has made me stop using USPS. I'd rather pay a little more at UPS store and not have to wait in line for 30 + minutes. The last 5 times I used this office there was only one person helping people. This is a perfect example why the government shouldn't be running any business. Higher more people Louis DeJoy. Any properly run business would be out of business with the lack of customer service.

I always forget about this place. I always go to the one on Motor because they are open on Saturdays. I also swore I wrote a review for this place once like a decade ago. Maybe not. Anyway, I came here to drop off some envelopes and a package, all pre paid, but their pkg drop box is only a slit about 2 or 3 inches tall. It's not a large moving bin w/ a handle thing like at the Motor Post Office, so not sure I will be coming here again. I've only been here like twice maybe. The location is good though. And parking is easy.

It's incredibly disheartening to have to write this as I've been loyal to usps since their location on Jefferson....
However, I am making the definite move to FedEx. Despite their prices being higher, it is very evident that upper management at usps does not care about their customer experience or their employees. It does not make any sense how I have to wait over 20 minutes to be assisted. Even during my last visit, the clerk had to inform the guests that the wait was going to be longer as she had to pause for a break. Which I can assume due to the overwhelming demand and consistent line, that the break was needed! Supervisors, managers, and what I learned upon research, "post-masters" are choosing not to replace the clerk during their breaks. Most importantly, there should have not been only one person at the front alone in the first place! Do better! I will no longer be returning here. Maybe don't let workers take lunch when people who need to use the post office are taking lunch. One person working with a like almost ten people long. Makes no sense.

The longest wait. Dead silent. Least friendly workers. People need to find different jobs if they are in customer facing roles. I lost 5 years of my life from all the depression in this place.

Unbelievably bad service. I've tried twice to go to by stamps. The first time, during the middle of their open hours, there was no one there behind the desk. I heard someone in the back who ignored me when I called out asking for help. I waited 10 minutes, occasionally calling out and no one came. A few other customers came in and also left. I returned today for the stamps I was unable to get last time and got in a line. After waiting for a while, and after more people got in line behind me, the person behind the counter announced he was going on break and would not serve anyone else. From now on I will go to UPS.

If you have anything of value or anything of importance do not send it to the US Postal Service. There's a good chance that letter or item could be stolen. It's a sad fact that the US post office is can't be trusted.
