I'm the Successor Trustee of a Irrevocable Trust and part of my responsibilities include getting an appraisal of the property held in trust upon the Settlor's death. Unfortunately, I didn't know that and was only made aware of this fact after a meeting with the Settlor's trust attorney. This concerned me for a few reasons. The first two call backs I got were from other appraisers, one of which sounded unsure of the job but said it would definitely cost more than his normal fee, and the second one was certain they could do it, but the price definitely stung a bit. I am absolutely certain that the appraisal document he created for me will stand up in probate court and with both the IRS and CFTB.

A liquid amber tree had destroyed my walkway with it's root system and as part of redoing my entire front yard I needed someone to come and replace my walkway.

I called and left a message and within an hour my call was returned and Loma told me he could come by later that afternoon to give me an estimate. He showed up on time and gave me an estimate that was very fair. He told he would complete the job in one day and would start at 7am the next morning.

At 7am Loma and his crew were out front and removing my walkway. If I wasn't expecting them I wouldn't have even known they were there that's how quiet they were. They demo'd the old concrete, removed several roots big enough to lift the walkway and crack it, removed all grass and weeds, laid the frames and poured the new concrete all within 3.5 hours. By 10:30am the only person left was the finisher that did the final smoothing and detail work. At 1pm the job was complete. The finisher told me Loma would be by in early in the morning to remove the frames and as promised by the time I woke up and looked outside they were gone.

In less than 24 hours of contacting Loma the job was complete. I just needed to wait until morning to walk on it. As concrete jobs go mine wasn't very complicated, but they did a fantastic job as you can see for yourself in the pictures.

A pipe running between two floors of my house sprung a leak and between the water damage and the plumber having to punch holes in my ceiling I had quite a mess.

I contacted Luis, sent him some photos and he got back to me with an estimate almost immediately. The price was fair and so we scheduled a time for him to make the repair.
